   Finished the Baltic States Table Tennis Championships 2011 which was held in September 17 - 18, 2011, Dobele, Latvia. Women's Team Latvia 1 (Baiba Bogdasarova, Diana Rusinova, Insana Mahauri) won silver medals. Men's Team Latvia 1 (Arturs Renholds, Leonids Maslovs, Maris Kuda) won bronze medals. In Men's singles for the Champion of year 2011 became Aleksandr Smirnov from Estonia, but in Women's singles Champion title have got Aukse Geceviciute from Lithuania.

   Matiss Burgis closest aim is the qualification for the Olympics 2012 in London. Even if it is going to be very hard, Matiss thinks his chances are good. Full Interview with Matiss Burgis please read in Butterfly News of August 2011.

   Second time in a row in Kuldiga was Latvian Individual Table Tennis Championship where Matiss Burgis won the title in Men’s Singles Event and Antra Vinerte won the title in Women's Singles Event.
